Marketing Communications Policy

1. Service & transactional messages

To operate your account and deliver privacy removal services, ShieldApps sends mandatory operational communications. These include account verification codes, single sign-in links, security alerts, service status updates, actions requiring your manual verification, and billing notifications.

Service messages are non-promotional, essential to product delivery, and cannot be opted out of while your ShieldApps account remains active.

2. Marketing & promotional emails

ShieldApps may periodically send emails regarding new features, product updates, privacy tools, special offers, or security tips.

Compliance & Unsubscribe: In accordance with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act and applicable privacy laws, every marketing email includes a clear, automated unsubscribe link in the footer and our physical corporate address.

Managing Preferences: You may opt out of receiving marketing emails at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in any promotional message, adjusting your notification preferences in your Account Settings, or emailing support@shieldapps.com. Opting out of marketing emails will not affect your receipt of mandatory service notifications.

3. SMS, text messaging, & telephone calls

ShieldApps does not currently send marketing text messages (SMS) or place telemarketing calls.

If ShieldApps introduces optional SMS security features (such as two-factor authentication) or promotional text alerts in the future, we will collect prior express written consent in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Message and data rates may apply, and you will always have the right to opt out immediately by replying "STOP."

4. No sale or rent of contact details

ShieldApps strictly adheres to a privacy-first standard. We NEVER sell, rent, license, or trade your email address, phone number, or personal contact details to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
